BACKGROUND
PREFACE

In 1912 Albert Einstein formulated his principle of equivalence because he could not prove (exactness) that gravity and inertia were exactly the same.

Einstein reasoned that an observer standing upon the floor of an accelerating rocket ship traveling at the acceleration rate of gravity would appear to have exactly the same sensations and feeling as an observer that was standing upon the surface of planet earth.  But, when he continued with this reasoning he arrived at a brick wall, because if these two experiences were exactly the same then the surface of the planet would have to be accelerating outward carrying an observer up into space just like the accelerating floor of a rocket ship carried an observer into space. It would mean that the surfaces of all planets would have to be accelerating outwards into space and the diameters of planets and stars would be increasing at a faster and faster rate. Einstein felt that he had to abandon exactness though he was convinced that gravity and inertia were the same natural phenomenon.

Einstein knew that mathematically if you multiplied space with time you would arrive at a graphic curvature as the distance increased away from any mass in space. Equivalence allowed him to continue using the numerical equivalent of inertial force. It also allowed graphic coordinates to be drawn in space at specific intervals to represent distances achieved by acceleration over time. These coordinates became the basis of Einstein’s theory of General Relativity and space time curvature.  Over the course of his lifetime he could never reconcile this apparent discrepancy but always believed that somehow inertia and gravity had exactly the same nature, not merely equivalent.

This book is about the discovery that the universal properties of acceleration verifies that Einstein’s original instincts about inertia and gravity had been correct, and why he should never have given up the prospect of exactness for equivalence. In the following pages I will show how exactness represents how the universe actually works and discuss the ramifications of the emerging paradigm shift that will result from this discovery.

The Universal Properties of Acceleration completely support a new principle;

The Principle of Exactness

[Gravity and inertia are exactly the same]
