Alternative Energy
For our top Honor for the 2009-2010 Edition
GARDINER, NY, September 2,
2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Barry
Lebost, Consultant, Author and Inventor, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for
showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of alternative
energy.
As a consultant, author and inventor, Mr. Lebost specializes in alternative
energy. He has just completed the construction and installation of a 5.9 kilowatt
micro-hydroelectric plant that powers his house from a stream that runs through
the property. He is presently consulting on the construction of other
micro-hydro projects and has been appointed to the town of Gardiner's Green Energy Taskforce.
Mr. Lebost is a retired IT specialist that specialized in voice over IP trading
systems and large scale fiber optic transmission networks. He was a Novell CNE
(Certified Netware Engineer). He managed all installation and repair personnel
in an extensive fiber optic network that was dedicated to the transmission of
data for some of the largest Wall Street financial corporations. From 1975 to
1981, he invented and installed the largest innovative wind turbine ever to be
installed in a major city. With funding from sources such as the late singer
and environmentalist, John Denver, New York University (NYU) and the New York
State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) he installed his
patented turbine on a NYU rooftop. Mr. Lebost's latest invention is a simple
and inexpensive device that eliminates mosquitoes in localized areas. The
device, which he is presently seeking partner for, has the potential to
significantly reduce the outbreak of malaria. He is also the author of a newly
published book entitled "The Universal Properties of Acceleration" in
which he proposes a new law in physics to replace Albert Einstein's principle
of equivalence, the foundation of the theory of gravity. The book has received
a four star Clarion review by ForeWard magazine.
Mr. Lebost completed coursework at the RCA Institute of Technology's
engineering program and holds over 35 different certifications in electrical,
mechanical and communication systems. He is a member of the American
Association for the Advancement of Science, the World Pantheist Movement and
SGI Buddhism for the promotion of world peace.
